I recently scored an all-access pass to the new Obama Presidential Center before its official opening — and I'm taking you inside with me. For months, I watched the massive museum building appear behind construction fences, it looked so out of place. It felt nice, though, walking up to the bright gray plaza.

Seeing the grays against the greens of the trees, grasses and the park area nearby, and the light gray of the building against a gorgeous blue sky, turned me around on the design. After exploring the museum exhibits and artsy treasures twice, and having Jackson Park nearby and the Japanese Gardens, I know I'll be here often. Maybe you'll to do the same. 🤷🏻
