About Me

I'm a Colombian-American illustrator and photographer based in Chicago, as well as a direct descendant of the Muisca Tribe of Colombia, where I was born.

I create art and stories in themes:

Flora/Fauna/Funga [Wild],

Symbolism/Spirituality [Spirit],

[Journeys] on Earth.

I'm mostly self-taught, though I have taken some college level art courses. When I was 16 I quit high school & was awarded a special "overachiever" GED which I used to get accepted to a local community college. In 2010 I earned a Bachelor's Degree in International Affairs (international political science) from Temple University in Tokyo, Japan where I lived for nearly a decade.

My view of the world is colored by a large variety of sources. I enjoy tech (I taught myself basic coding, which is why my website is so animated), science (biology, physics and engineering are fascinating to me), history (from ancient to modern) and architecture (what better city for it!). I also like to learn about spiritual systems & symbolism, art through time, the variety of art media and techniques and the natural world.


At the moment, the following are piquing my interest:

・The science behind same-gender reproduction: 2 mice moms and 2 mice dads!

・The discovery that the body emits light.

・Queer Ecology and queer beings in nature.
